I have two related questions about text to 'animated' speech:
1.) Is it possible to take a static picture of someone's face, and have software that will allow that face to simulate speaking some specified text ? That is - text to "animated face" speech software ?
2.) On a related note - I had read in the past that it will be possible for computer animation to enable movie producers to use the images of deceased actors and 'direct' them, via animation, into current movie scripts - is there any software currently available that can do this ? What technology (software/hardware) currently comes closes to achieving this possibility ?
