Is there any guide or e-book that completely helps for setting up and hosting my domain in Google Infrastructure? Either by using app engine or by using Google Cloud (I am not sure that both are same)?

Or at the least I would like a web tutorial... I need help right after buying the domain!

Thanks

I assume you are referring to Google Apps? Which isn't free, it's actually $5 a month/user last time I checked. However, you can use your own domain name with it. Instructions on how to set it up can be found below, if you know how to manage DNS on your domain, then it's very easy to do.http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1186224If you're intending on using Google Apps free edition, then unfortunately, this service ended a while back, so can no longer do it. However, I did write a couple of articles on my personal blog on how to get your own domain via a normal Gmail account, but it's a bit of a hack to be honest. However, it does work.http://refugeeks.com/use-your-own-domain-with-gmailhttp://refugeeks.com/how-to-have-your-own-custom-email-address-for-freeOf course, there always Windows Live Domains, which is the outlook.com version of Google Apps Free, which is currently still free. Here's an install guide for that:http://www.labnol.org/internet/setup-outlook-on-custom-domain/24699/

Apologies, I misunderstood the question. I thought you were asking how to host your domain with Google Apps, for email etc. As James said, Google don't do regular hosting of domains or websites. As part of Google Apps, you do get Google Sites, but it's extremely basic, and PHP won't work with it. If you want somewhere to host your domains DNS, I'd recommend Entry DNS (entrydns.net) they're really great, and you can set short TTL so that propagation is quick. As for hosting, well, there are a tonne of hosts out there, but if you're willing to roll you're sleeves up, and get your hands dirty, then I'd highly recommend Linode (linode.com). They start are $20 a month for a VPS with 1gb ram, 2tb monthly transfer and around 50gb of storage. Their support is also awesome. Sorry for the misunderstanding there.

You host apps on Google, not really regular old websites. It's not impossible I dont think, just not really the done thing: https://developers.google.com/appengine/docs/whatisgoogleappengine . It sounds like you just think you can use it as a free web host.
