I live in one time zone and work in another. When I try to sync my iPhone with Outlook, the phone keeps moving appointments out of my preferred time zones. Is there any way to make the phone display an appointment at the time I choose, rather than what its glitch-laden software imposes upon me?

Just make sure your computer, Outlook and the iPhone are using the same time zone. Then there shouldn't be any problem. For your computer just right-click the clock and select "Edit Time/Date"For Outlook open up Tools > Options, select the Preferences tab and click on Calendar Options. When you click on Advanced Options there you will find the Time Zone setting. For your iPhone go to Settings > General > Date & Time and disable "Set Automatically". This will enable the Time, Date and Time Zone settings.
