Which internet browsers is the best for old PCs with not-so-much RAM? I have tried Firefox, Chrome and Opera, but all of these have frozen my computer. I have 512 MB of RAM, Athlon 1600 1.4 Ghz and Windows XP Professional with SP 2.

With that configuration you should be able to work more than nicely with any of those browsers. You must have a software configuration problem.

Try reinstalling Windows XP Professional with SP 2 and then try Chrome again.

I am reading your post on Chrome running on an old AMD 1.5 :)

While I agree with Jeffery, most people are confused when they go to Linux. I have a laptop running windows XP (I use just to tear up and fix so i can learn new things) and i only have 512 MB of RAM in it. I use google chrome and it runs really well.

I suggest installing a Linux distribution then, frees up a metric fuckton of ram.
