I don't have an Internet connection on my PC. I can download from a net cafe. but they have Windows. Can anyone get me a solution?

Also another good option is the Ubuntu Live DVD, It has a good number of the packages you will need under the Pool folder of the DVD. Of course it is limited, but if you need something quick without running it down, this may be a good option for you. I keep a current LTS (10.04) copy of Ubuntu just for this purpose, also I have seen people put them on there thumb drives just in case.
