HA14, thanks for your response, and Tina for the reminder.I de-installed the program from my ASUS696 PDA (Intel PXA270 processor) W-Mobile 6 Classic, and re-installed it as follows:1) I copied SUN_JAVAFX.CAB to an SD card2) I let the CAB file install itself on the device memory3) response: “SUN_JAVAFX.cab was successfully installed on yourdevice.“4) I found a JavaFX folder containing Java folder, JavaFX and JavaFX.exe.0409 on the device. I also found JavaFX on the start menu.5) BUT if I want to start Java I get the same response as before, e.g. cannot open, not signed with a certified signature, or component missing. What do you mean with step 3 in your reply ( Copy the JavaFX application jar file over to the device emulator file system) ?I cannot locate a JavaFX jar file.Reading the installation manual in the zip file, I followed the suggestion to copy the SUN_JAVAFX.CAB in the device root directory. I repeated the installation. Same result.

you need Windows Mobile 6.0 or 6.1 platform installed on a target device with network connectivity, 32-bit RISC based microprocessor, and minimum 64 MB RAM.1) First, you copy the SUN_JAVAFX.CAB file over to the device emulator file system2) Click on the SUN_JAVAFX.CAB to install it3) Copy the JavaFX application jar file over to the device emulator file system4) Click on the jar file - this should start the JavaFX application installer and should ask you if you want to install the application5) Once the installation finishes you can start JavaFX by choosing the "JavaFX" icon in the "Programs" section of the device6) You should see your JavaFX application in the list of installed applications. Click to run it.http://www.java.net/external?url=http://javafx.com/downloads
