Hi, how are you?

If I install DDWRT firmware on my current router, will I be able to give a nickname to each MAC address?

Thanks.

If everything is setup correctly, yes.You can read more about DNS names and DD-WRT in this article:http://www.howtogeek.com/69696/how-to-access-your-machines-using-dns-names-with-dd-wrt/Generally, this will work with any router/firmware that supports dnsmasq. You will have to create static DHCP reservations for your devices and all devices have to have the routers IP address as their DNS server (which you can usually do by handing it out via DHCP). In some setups DHCP reservations are not necessary either but it's usually the easier way to make it work.
