Instacart is adding a new delivery option for anyone who wants to get their groceries even quicker. By choosing Priority Delivery, you can get your groceries in as fast as just 30 minutes.

Instacart Now Offers Priority Delivery

A press release on PR Newswire unveiled Instacart's new Priority Delivery option, a feature that lets customers order a rush delivery of groceries.

Priority Delivery will be available in major cities throughout the US and Canada, including San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, Miami, San Diego, and Chicago. Some participating stores include Safeway, Sprouts Farmers Market, Stater Bros., and Ralphs.

If you're able to use Priority Delivery in your area, you'll see the expected delivery time represented by the lightning bolt icon. In addition to Priority Delivery, Instacart will also start expanding 45 and 60-minute deliveries to more cities across North America.

Get Faster Deliveries to Your Door

Instacart's new Priority Delivery feature should set it apart from other grocery delivery apps on the market, like Shipt. But keep in mind that it's a bit unrealistic to expect to receive a large order of groceries in just 30 minutes. If you've ordered just a few items, you'll likely receive your order as fast as Instacart claims.
