Any audio or video going through the system you are streaming from. It's just the setup that may be more complex or difficult to achieve depending on the sources you want to use. For example if you want to stream a digital audio source plus your microphone you could simply unmute the microphone in your audio cards mixer and then stream the full audio to YT. The downside of this simple setup is that you will hear yourself via your headphones or speakers. This can be very irritating so in most cases you want to keep the microphone muted and use a stereo mix as the source of the stream. If you are lucky your sound card supports that out of the box and you just have to enable it within Windows (see link). If not, you will have to find a software that creates a virtual stereo mix suited for your streaming (software).http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/39532/how-to-enable-stereo-mix-in-windows-7-to-record-audio/You could also hookup your Xbox or Playstation to a capture card on your streaming system, plus webcam, plus headset and then stream "the whole thing" to YouTube.Just some examples... Even big concerts or other events (with professional camera setup etc.) are occasionally streamed via YouTube so the "limit" is the effort and resources you want to put into it.

There are no YouTube live settings. YouTube simply gives you two URLs to input your video stream, the primary/main server and a backup server.https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2907883Everything else is done by your video stream encoder. You will have to consult your encoding softwares manual or support whether it is capable to stream a specific Chrome tab or just a specific area of your screen.
