Zoom has received quite a few new features in the past few months. The newest of these features is Immersive View which aims to make your online meetings more fun and collaborative. This mode basically makes you feel like you're in a real-world meeting.
Use a Shared Background With Zoom's Immersive View
Zoom has announced on its blog that it's adding a feature called Immersive View to its online meeting platform. Using this feature, you can share your Zoom background with all your meeting participants.
There are certain backgrounds that make you feel like your meetings are happening in the real world.
Features in Zoom's Immersive View
If you're already a Zoom user, you can start using Immersive View in your Zoom meetings right away. While you're in a meeting, simply select the Immersive View option as you would any other option, and the feature will kick in.
You can use this feature with up to 25 participants at a time. If there are more users in your meeting, those users will appear as thumbnails.
Zoom provides a few backgrounds for you to use and share with your meeting participants, and you can add your own backgrounds as well.
Immersive View Makes Zoom Meetings More Realistic
Immersive View in Zoom is similar to Together Mode in Microsoft Teams. Both features aim to make your meetings more real and fun. If you haven't already tried this feature, go ahead and give it a shot.
