IFA Berlin is currently underway, and we found a lot of cool gems we want to share with you. This is one of the oldest industrial exhibitions in Germany, with the first event taking place back in 1924.

Nowadays, it's Europe's biggest tech show, with thousands of exhibitors every year and hundreds of thousands of visitors. For tech lovers, it's the place to be.

We're in Berlin right now, getting a tech overdose and we thought it's best to share our favorite items with you. What stood out for us? What did we love the most? Which ones should you look out for? Here are the official MUO awards for IFA Berlin 2022.

MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Tablet

The Health+ feature provides a detailed health analysis in the hopes of helping users build a new health routine.

The new scale won't just tell you the body's composition (weight, muscle mass, fat mass, water percentage, bone mass, BMI, etc), but also make cardiovascular and nerve health assessments. It's the first scale currently on the market to mix the three features. The Withings Body Comp scale is the device you need in your home if you want to start improving your health. The scale will be sold with a year-long subscription to the Health+ service, starting in October.

MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Budget Laptop

Better known for making smartphones, TECNO has introduced its first laptop at IFA 2022. The Megabook T1 has an aluminum metal casing and is super slim and super light. At only 14.8mm thick and under 1.5kg, this is a laptop you can carry anywhere without wanting a massage by the end of the day. The company claims the laptop will run for up to 17.5 hours with its 70Wh battery.

The Megabook T1 runs on a 10nm Intel Core Processor and comes with two storage options—512GB or 1TB— and you can get it with 12GB or 16GB of RAM. The screen is also fairly impressive, with high brightness and gamut, adaptive dimming, and an eye comfort certification. The stellar features and fabulous price make this laptop a great choice.

MUO IFA Award: Best Solar Generator

Having a portable power station is absolutely awesome these days. EcoFlow is taking advantage of its presence at IFA 2022 to unveil the DELTA 2. This is the next-generation of portable power stations from EcoFlow, a product the company hopes will set a new benchmark for the industry.

The DELTA 2 has a battery capacity of 1 kWh and supports up to 1800W rated output. The device features four AC power sockets, which is quite enough for most homes or outdoor events. You can charge it up to 80% in 50 minutes and go for the full 100% in 80 minutes. Much like previous Delta models, you can charge this one up by chaining multiple solar panels together. The EcoFlow Delta 2 is exactly what you need to reduce your reliance on the grid.

MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Smart Home Device

For our Best Smart Home device, we decided to go for a device that can help cross the bridge between smart home manufacturers. If you've ever looked into smart home devices, you'll have noticed there's a lack of compatibility between most major brands. Coming from Matter, the newest and latest smart devices under the Eve brand can now get commands from Google Home or Amazon Echo.

If you're familiar with the Eve product line, you'll know they've only ever worked with Apple's HomeKit platform. Now, however, you'll be able to control these smart devices with Google Home or even by Asking Alexa to turn it on and off, which is outstanding. This is part of an effort to create a unified language spoken by all smart home devices. The new line will certainly shake up the smart home market, which is exactly what it needs.

MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Gaming Peripheral

Coming from Riot PWR, their brand new Xbox cloud gaming controller for iOS is one product you'll love. The controller was created specifically for iPhone and iOS devices and features a design similar to that of controllers for the Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, so it will feel familiar.

At IFA 2022, Sony unveiled its new flagship phone, the Xperia 5 IV! The newly released phone looks just as sleek as other Sony flagships, with a 6.1" screen, an aluminum frame, and durable Gorilla Glass Victus.

Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and an octa-core CPU, this Android 12-run smartphone will keep you entertained all day long. MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Smartwatch

Proudly displayed at IFA 2022, the new Garmin Venu Sq 2 is a smartwatch we've been anticipating for a while. The device carries a similar look to previous Venu models, but there are serious upgrades under the hood.

The new watch features a 1.4" AMOLED touchscreen with vivid colors that makes it perfect for all those maps you have to follow to get around. The battery will last for up to 11 days on a single charge, which is about double than previous models. The smartwatch will monitor the heart rate throughout the day, blood oxygen saturation, sleep, and stress levels. MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best Home Security Device

When it comes to home security, Ring devices are super easy to manage by anyone and everyone. Well, now the Ring catalog has expanded with the Ring Intercom.

Designed to complement regular intercom hardware wired into apartment buildings, the Ring Intercom will allow you to communicate with visitors via your phone instead. Users will be able to adjust the privacy and security settings to easily allow access to certain individuals while revoking access to others, at any time. The Ring Intercom is the upgrade this system has been missing for decades.

MUO IFA 2022 Award: Best PEV

If there's one electric vehicle everyone loves these days, that's the scooter. The only downside to most of these scooters is that they take up a lot of space. Well, coming from Riley Scooters, the Riley RS3, which was just unveiled at IFA 2022, is small enough you can carry it in a bag!

The RS3 has a 350 W electric motor, can reach up to 25km/h, and has an autonomy of about 25 kilometers, which means you can easily get around the city throughout the day. It will also fully charge in just two hours, so you can be on your way home after a day at the office. If you need to get on the subway, you can fold it up and store it in a bag, as it only weighs 14 kilograms. We all want to have a reliable smartphone without having to pay a fortune for it. Well, the brand new Nokia X30 5G was under the spotlight at IFA 2022.

This is a "green" phone, made with 100% recycled aluminum and 65% recycled plastic, for a small eco-footprint. The device has a 6.43" FHD+AMOLED display, a 16 MP front camera, and a 50 MP Main Big pixel camera + a 13 MP Ultrawide camera on the back.
