Why have all my icons on my Windows 7 computer changed to the Internet Explorer icon? How can I change them back?

If it's just the icons, and the files open correctly, then follow Farhan's instructions. If the files don't react to double-clicking, or always open the same program, then it's probably a virus and you can try the file Hovsep recommends or Shortcut Cleaner and FixExec .
