It would be better that you keep that IE browser untouched and allow it to update along with other Windows update or better yet, disable it.

Dalsan is right. You can't completely remove Internet Explorer from Windows (in fact, some of you will remember that Microsoft got into very hot water over this issue with the European Union and was fined around a billion Euro for it!). IE is integrated into the operating system, such that even it is not used at all as a web browser, components of it are used by the operating system or other programs. With earlier versions of Windows, there were third-party IE removers which removed the program with a greater or lesser degree of success. More recently, we've all grown to accept that it's simply a part of Windows, and you can simply use other web browsers and disable IE in that capacity.

This page says you can uninstall visit here http://windows.microsoft.com/is-is/windows7/how-do-i-install-or-uninstall-internet-explorer-9

The link is for uninstalling updates for Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7, which would still leave Internet Explorer installed on the system, just a lower edition. Manually uninstalling Internet Explorer is possible, but is highly not recommended since it will corrupt necessary system functions that rely on certain Internet Explorer app services.

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer, but it can be disabled. Go to Search by pointing the mouse pointer to the upper-right corner, then move the pointer downwards, and then click on Search. Type in Windows Features, click Settings, and then click on Turn Windows Features on or off. Go through the list and uncheck Internet Explorer, and then click OK. Follow any prompts, and after restarting the computer, Internet Explorer should not be visible or used. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/turn-windows-features-on-off linked from http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/how-to-turn-internet-explorer-off
