I'm from Europe and I want to order an unlocked HTC Desire HD. Next year I might be going to US. Will I be able to use the unlocked HTC Desire HD there? With what carrier - Sprint or Verizon? I need an answer as detailed as possible.

HCT Desire HD supports the following frequencies:2G Networks GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and 3G Networks HSDPA 900/2100It should work with AT&T provider, but on 2G only, not 3G, because it's bands are 850 and/or 1900 MHz.But again, it is best to contact the provider and ask them about it.

From what I know both, Sprint and Verizon are using CDMA2000 which is not supported by the European Desire HD.I read somewhere that AT&T is supporting GSM and HSPA so this might be an option.Supported networks for HTC Desire HD (Europe):HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHzGSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHzYour best chance is to directly contact the carriers and ask them about compatibility. Supporting the listed networks is no guarantee that it will work.

Yep, AT&T is the only possible option, and you'll have to talk to them directly about it. Carriers are very finicky about this sort of thing. They like to make sure you're in a contract with their next on their device.
