If you like playing PC games, the chances are you have an ever-growing library on Steam. After all, for most people, it's the go-to online store for video games.

If that's you, then you might want to know how to view a list of everything you've purchased, redeemed, and earned on Steam. Whether you're curious how much you've spent over the years, or want to track your profits from selling Steam trading cards, it's easy to find out.

Here's how to view your Steam transaction history.

What Does the Steam Purchase History Show?

The Steam purchase history shows every payment transaction that you have made on Steam. This includes games, apps, and subscriptions purchased through the store, along with items and cards bought and sold through the Community Market.

For each transaction, you can see the date, payment platform, and total spend or income. You can't sort the table or export it; you'll need to manually copy and paste it into a spreadsheet for that.

The list also displays anything that you bought and then refunded on Steam, with a separate line for each transaction. The original purchase will be struck through to show the refund.

If you contact a game developer for support, they may ask for your Steam proof of purchase. If that happens, you can come to your Steam purchase history to obtain it.
