If you need a quick laugh to lighten your mood or cure your boredom, Netflix has a mobile feature for you: Fast Laughs.

Fast Laughs presents short clips in a scrollable format. Here's how to use Netflix's Fast Laughs on mobile.

What Are Fast Laughs?

Fast Laughs is a TikTok-like feature that provides Netflix subscribers with a scrollable feed of short comedy videos. The videos are excerpts of movies, shows, and comedy specials that are currently available to stream on Netflix.

Once you navigate to the Fast Laughs tab, the videos will play and automatically roll over to the next one once they finish. This is in contrast to apps such as TikTok that require you to physically scroll in between each video.

If you like a clip, you can add the show or special to your watch list or begin watching it immediately in the app. This feature is a great way to discover new shows to binge on, comedians to watch, and light-hearted movies.

Many of the clips included in Fast Laughs are better suited for mature audiences. The app does issue a warning about this when you open the Fast Laughs tab. If you are logged in to a child's profile, you will not have the option to access Fast Laughs.

How to Access Fast Laughs On Your Phone

At the time of writing, the Fast Laughs option is only available on the iOS version of the Netflix app, but it will be coming to the Android app eventually.

  1. Open the Netflix app on your phone.
  2. At the bottom of your screen, tap Fast Laughs (represented by a smiling face). You can now scroll through short funny clips curated by Netflix.
  3. Along the right-hand side, you can like clips by selecting the LOL button, add them to your watch list by selecting the My List option, or share your favorites with your friends or to your social media with the Share feature.
