Imagine images you have never seen before. Or art that reflects the brilliance of world-famous painters. And creations that blow your mind. You can make them all with Bing Image Creator.

Yes, the Bing Image Creator empowers you to make original and stunning AI art—with just your words. Read on to explore how you can do that.

What Is Bing Image Creator? How to Access It

There's a good chance you've heard of Bing Image Creator. It is Microsoft's AI image generator powered by an advanced version of the popular DALL-E by Open AI.

Bing Image Creator creates images based on the text prompt you give it. Beautiful oil paintings, awesome digital art, brilliant illustrations and logos, funky pop art creations, and scenes inspired by movies, Bing Image Creator will create almost anything for you. Exceptions are images it thinks are harmful or unsafe—so it will block the prompt and warn you.

Bing Image Creator is available for anyone to use. It is built into Microsoft Edge in its sidebar, so you can access it if you use a Windows PC. You can also access the Image Creator in Bing Chat.

If you're not on Windows, you can search for Edge on your browser and download Microsoft's browser.

You'll find the Bing Image Creator icon on the right vertical sidebar of Edge. If it's not there, click on the plus icon on the sidebar to open the menu. Under the Manage section, toggle on the option for the Image Creator, and its icon will appear on the sidebar.

If you prefer not to use Edge, go directly to the Bing Image Creator website.

All you need is a Microsoft account to sign in. To do that, click on the Join and Create button on Edge or the Bing Image Creator site. You can always create a Microsoft account for free if you don't have one.

With that done, let's go ahead and see how to make spectacular AI art using Bing Image Creator.

How to Make AI Art With Bing Image Creator

Once you're signed in, just feed Bing Image Creator a prompt to create an image for you. First, let's explore how to make AI art on the Image Creator website.

Making AI Art on the Bing Image Creator Website

The images you create depend on the text prompt you give to Bing Image Creator. Don't worry if you're unsure of a good prompt to give. You can use the Surprise Me button to get started or when you're stuck.

Click it, and Image Creator will suggest a suitable and descriptive prompt to create a great image. Then click on the pink Create button. Within seconds, four images will get generated for you.

Four Images Generated by Surprise Me Prompt

Every prompt results in four images of 1024 x 1024 resolution. Click the images for a bigger view, and you can download and share one or all of them from there.

Bing Image Creator also suggests a template to create good prompts: start with an adjective like fuzzy, give a noun like creature, followed by a verb such as wearing sunglasses, and finally, name a style like digital art.

You'll also keep getting tips on describing images with examples. The Image Creator site is full of great suggestions for prompts, art styles, different subjects, and what you can create.

Though, it's not that Image Creator will create the exact image you want. As stated on the Image Creator site, be prepared for surprises and mistakes, like faces and hands appearing distorted. But if you want to create original and fascinating images in seconds, Bing Image Creator is perhaps one of the best AI art tools.

When you're starting with Bing Image Creator, you'll get 25 boosted generations. When you run out of boosts you can still create more AI art. It's just that the images will take longer to get generated.

You can also redeem Microsoft Rewards for additional boosts and enjoy faster processing times.

Creating AI Art on Microsoft Edge

When you click the Image Creator icon on the Edge sidebar, the Image Creator panel opens on the right. Like the website, it features the Surprise Me and Create buttons and will generate four images when you give a prompt.

Here, I gave a prompt combining an iconic Star Wars spaceship, the Millennium Falcon, with one of the most scenic American landmarks, Niagara Falls—you can see below what Image Creator generated.
