Just got the Parallels Desktop 9 which is great but it is still installing Chrome OS 14. But it says it is up-to-date when you try update it.
How do I bypass this thing?

Since Googlel only release Chrome OS for (their) official devices, you can't simply download it, but you see the discussion at https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/forum/#!topic/chromium-os-discuss/8VNf4TVRyf4 . You should be able to get an image from http://chromeos.hexxeh.net/ and import it into Parallels.

The reason why keyboard and mouse is not working in Parallels is that they are not providing sufficient drivers for it to work under the OS.
