If you want to capture a picture while gaming, you haven't got time to fiddle around copying a screenshot into photo editing software. That's why it's so handy that Ubisoft Connect lets you screenshot your game through a single keyboard shortcut.

We're going to show you how to take a screenshot with Ubisoft Connect and how to customize the associated settings.

How to Take a Screenshot in Ubisoft Connect

By default, the key to capture an in-game screenshot is F12. Simply press this at any point and your screenshot saves to your computer.

This screenshot will be stored in your Pictures > UbisoftConnect folder.

Note that this only applies to games you're playing directly through Ubisoft Connect. You can use Ubisoft Connect to launch games through Steam, for example; in those instances, you'd need to refer to how to take screenshots on Steam.

How to Customize Your Screenshot Settings in Ubisoft Connect

  1. Open Ubisoft Connect.
  2. Click the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-left.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. From the left menu, click Other.

Here you can see the folder path where your screenshots are stored. Click Change to make this a different path and Open folder to see the folder and its images.

You can change the Capture screenshot hotkey. Just click in the field and press the key(s) you want to set.

Finally, you can also check to Save a lossless (.png) copy of screenshots and Automatically take a screenshot when an achievement is locked. Bear in mind that the former will consume more disk space than lossy screenshots.
