I am using Windows 8 and want the hibernate button, but there was no hibernate button found. How can I put my laptop in hibernate mode?

The hibernate option is disabled by default in Windows 8 because Windows 8 is realized for starts it in few seconds.

Good question:Open the charms bar, in desktop mode, select control panelSelect system and security >power options > choose what the power buttons do(on the left)> near the top there will be an option to change settings that aren't currently avaliableEnter your password or click yes, then scroll down to shutdown settings and check hibernation

1. Right-Click on a blank area in the desktop.2. Click New and select short-cut.3. In the Type the location of the item text box, type "shutdown.exe /h".4. In the type the name for this shortcut, type "Hiberanate", and click finish. :)
