I can't copy files from my computer to my flash drive because it says it has a write protection.

If all else fails, format the drive. It's solved this problem for me a couple of times...

check if the USB drive has a manual selector for write protection ...if it is there then slide it and check again.

Does it have a little manual selector on the side of it? Check to see, if it does, if it is on the protect spot.

1. Start > search bar -> CMD right click and choose run as administrator2. type: diskpart3. type: list disk4. type: select disk # (# is the number of the flash drive, choose yours)5. type: attributes disk clear readonly
