While Disney+ is a great streaming service, it's not for everyone. If you've signed up to Disney+ and decided it's not as expected, you can request a refund. However, there are certain conditions you need to meet.

We're going to detail everything you need to know about how to request a refund on Disney+.

What Is the Disney+ Refund Policy?

The Disney+ refund policy is different per country. As such, for exact details, you should refer to the Disney+ subscriber agreement for your region.

In the US, you can request a refund on a Disney+ subscription or a Premier Access purchase within three days of purchase, providing you haven't watched anything.

In the UK, you can request a refund on a Disney+ subscription within 14 days of purchase, providing you haven't watched anything. Premier Access is different and, according to the representative we spoke to, is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. However, it's likely that your refund will be granted if you haven't watched the purchase and adhere to the 14 days.

Neither country's Disney+ will offer refunds for partially used billing periods, nor for an unused service purchased as part of a bundle.

How to Request a Disney+ Refund

There's no way to request a Disney+ refund through your account. Instead, you need to speak directly with a customer service representative.

disney+ help center

To do this, go to the Disney+ Help Center. Select either Live Chat or Call Us. If you opt for the live chat, you will first be connected to a virtual agent; proceed through the options until you get to a human. When you do, request your refund, and the representative will review your account to check your refund eligibility.

If your refund is approved, the money should be returned to your original payment method within seven days.

If you made an accidental Disney+ purchase, you're likely to receive a refund. However, don't expect to be so lucky if you've binged several of the shows and movies on the service.

If you got Disney+ to entertain your children and it didn't live up to expectations, don't fear. There are plenty of other great streaming services that are perfect for kids.
