Disney+ is packed full of exciting programming. But whether it's the latest Marvel TV series or Pixar animation, it can become difficult to keep track of your favorite shows. That's where the watchlist comes in.

We're going to show you how to use the Disney+ watchlist feature to manage all your favorite Disney+ content.

What Is the Disney+ Watchlist?

As the Disney+ library expands, it's challenging to remember everything that catches your eye. A watchlist is a way to create a personalized movie list, so you can keep track of everything you want to see on Disney+. It means you don't need to trawl through the search to find something again; it's all contained to a single list.

If there's something you come across that you want to view at a later date, whether it's available now or yet to be released, just add it to your watchlist. Handily, every profile on Disney+ has its own isolated watchlist. When viewing time comes around, open your watchlist and select the movie or TV show. It's one of many simple tips for a better Disney+ experience.

How to Add to Your Disney+ Watchlist

To add something to your Disney+ watchlist, open the movie or show and select the plus icon. Depending on your device, the icon may also have a Watchlist label. One selected, the plus icon turns into a blue checkmark to indicate you've added the media to your list. These steps are the same no matter which device you're using.

You can remove shows from your watchlist by selecting the checkmark; the checkmark turns back into a plus to indicate a successful removal.

How to View Your Disney+ Watchlist

Unlike some other streaming services, the Disney+ watchlist isn't a persistent row on the homepage. Instead, the way you access your queue varies by device. For example:

disney+ watchlist on web
  • On web browsers: From the top menu, select Watchlist.
  • On smart TVs: Navigate left and select Watchlist from the menu.
  • On phones: Tap your profile picture from the bottom menu, then tap Watchlist.

Unfortunately, there's no way to manage what's on your watchlist in bulk—you must navigate to each show or movie individually.

Create Profiles for Separate Watchlists

You can have up to seven profiles per Disney+ account, which is great when you have multiple people using the same subscription. Each profile has its own watchlist, which means you can maintain your own list of movies and shows without fear of others fiddling.
