How to Hide Games on Your PlayStation 5

Before you proceed, make sure you’ve connected your PS5 to the internet, so you can access your entire PSN library. Once connected, follow the steps below to hide games:

  1. Go to your Game Library–it is the last option in the Games section of the dashboard.

  2. Press R1 on your controller to access the Your Collection screen.
  3. Highlight the game you want to hide and then press the Options button on your controller.
  4. In the menu that appears, select Hide or Hide All Items. The latter option applies to titles with additional download options, such as a PS4 and PS5 version or a digital soundtrack.

If you’re trying to get rid of an infinite backlog of games, hiding games can be a good way to focus on what you actually want to play. You can further organize your library by creating Gamelists on PlayStation 5.

How to Unhide Games on Your PlayStation 5

If you want to show the games again in your library, the process of unhiding them is quite simple–again, you should connect your PS5 to the internet for this. Follow the steps below.

  1. Go to your Game Library from the PS5’s dashboard.
  2. Press R1 on your controller to access the Your Collection screen.
  3. Hit the Left button on your controller until you’re able to select the Sort and Filter option.
  4. Press X to bring out the sorting menu and then press X again on the Hidden Items toggle to only show the games you’ve hidden.
