Originally, all the first computers used dark screens with white text. To improve early adoption, manufacturers changed it to white screens with dark text to mimic the experience of reading paper.

How to Set Asana to Dark Mode

For Asana users, dark mode is available on the browser, desktop app, and mobile phone app. To set your Asana app to dark mode, follow these steps:

  1. Open Asana on the desktop app or web browser.
  2. Click your profile photo.
  3. Select My Settings.

  5. Under Theme, press the down button and select Dark.

  6. After making your selection, the entire Asana app on browser will automatically change to dark mode.

If you want to revert it back to Light mode, simply press the down button again and select Light.
