I don't know how to delete ask.com from Firefox Windows 7. I am not PC smart. I need easy instructions. I am really upset about this ask.com instead of Google.

How do I uninstall the Ask.com Toolbar?http://asksupport.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2908If you are using Windows 7: - Click the "Start" button and select "Control Panel" - Click "Uninstall a Program" option found under the "Programs" category - Select the program with the Ask logo and the text "Ask Toolbar" - Click "Remove"If you are using Windows Vista: - Close all open Web browsers - From the "Start" menu in Windows, select "Control Panel" - Under the "Programs" icon, select "Uninstall a program" - Select the program with the Ask logo and the text "Ask Toolbar" - Click "Uninstall" and then "Continue" to remove the ToolbarIf you are using Windows XP: - From the "Start" menu in Windows, select "Control Panel" - Click on "Add/Remove Programs". - Select the program with the Ask logo and the text "Ask Toolbar" - Click "Change/Remove"Now, if the steps for your particular version of Windows didn’t work, or if you received an error message, we’ve got you covered. We've created a small utility you can download and run, and it automates the process of complete toolbar removal (and then you can easily delete the utility -- we promise!) It can be downloaded here: http://apnmedia.ask.com/media/toolbar/utilities/ToolbarUtility/ToolbarUtilityTool.exe Once the toolbar is removed, you may still see Ask.com as your homepage when you open up a new browser window. That’s also very easy to change, and we’ve created a couple documents to walk you through that, depending on which browser you use: Internet Explorer: http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ie/index.html#na2 Mozilla Firefox: http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na2

Check add-on and remove it to browser.

It was probably installed as add-on with another sofware and you've accepted the option without even noticing it. The easy option will be to go to your Control Panet, select the Add or Remove program and look for the Ask toolbar and uninstall it.
