How to Delete Your Cash App Account

Now you're ready to delete your Cash App account. Before you delete the app, you need to have your account deleted first, otherwise, you'll still have an account with Cash App.

  1. Open Cash App on your device.
  2. Tap the Account Menu button, which has the avatar glyph.
  3. On the menu, tap Support.
  4. Scroll down and tap on Something Else.
  5. Tap on Account Settings.
  6. Tap Close Account.
  7. Tap on Confirm as well when asked, you'll need to send the support team the last four digits of your linked card for this.

You'll now receive confirmation by either email or SMS that your account has been deleted. You can go ahead and delete the app from your device when you receive it.
