If you use the Brave browser, you might be missing out on one of its hidden settings toggles. For instance, Brave allows you to set hourly options for the maximum number of ads displayed while using the browser—up to 10 per hour.

Let's see how to change this option, and why you would want to.

Why Would You Want to See More Ads?

For those who may be wondering why anyone would want to view more ads, Brave works differently. For each ad notification that pops up, you're rewarded with Basic Attention Tokens or BAT, whether you notice them or not.

As you accumulate BAT, you can choose to withdraw these tokens, exchange them for other cryptocurrencies, or use them to tip content creators. While you're not likely to make a fortune from the browser alone, that's a pretty sweet deal. The more ads you see, the more you get paid.

How to Increase the Amount of Ads You See on Brave

First, you'll want to ensure you've updated and relaunched your Brave browser. According to Brave's patch notes, you need at least version 1.26.67 to do this. You can check which version you have by selecting About Brave in your browser settings.

Once you know your browser is up to date, go to your ad settings. To get there, select the Brave Rewards logo to the right of the search bar. Within the rewards panel, click the gear for Settings.
