Adobe offers a wide selection of tools for creatives to enjoy, and its programs can help take your projects to the next level. But its software isn’t for everyone, and you might find that you’d like to look elsewhere after giving it a try.

How to Cancel Your Adobe Subscription

To stop your plan, you’ll first need to go to the Adobe website and sign in to your account.

After signing in, you’ll see an overview of your subscription and a selection of options. To begin the cancelation process, click on Manage plan.

In the next window, Adobe will ask whether you want to change or cancel your plan. If you’ve looked through the catalog and decide that you still want to end your membership, select Cancel your plan.

On the next page, Adobe will ask you why you’re leaving. Tick one of the boxes, and add any comments you feel are important. Then, click Continue.

Adobe will prompt you to change your plan after you’ve done this. All you need to do is click No thanks to continue.

After progressing, Adobe will outline the consequences of canceling your plan. You’ll sometimes need to pay a fee, and the amount will depend on whether you’ve got a monthly or annual subscription.

Not backing down, Adobe will then try to convince you to try some of its other products—such as Adobe Lightroom. Again, press the No thanks button.

Afterward, you’ll see a review page that highlights all the details. If you’re confident that you want to cancel your Adobe plan, click Confirm, and your subscription will end.

What You Should Know About Cancelling Your Adobe Subscription

If you cancel an Adobe account more than 14 days after paying for a plan, you won’t get a refund. However, you will be able to continue using your subscription until the end of your current billing cycle.

When you cancel your subscription with Adobe, you’ll make a clean cut; you can’t freeze it for a few months. However, you can reactivate it at a later date.

Canceling an Adobe plan doesn’t mean your account will get deleted. You will, however, get less storage and such—so if you plan to continue using Adobe, it’s worth thinking about keeping or tweaking your plan.
