Instagram Stories are a great way to showcase photographs and videos of your daily activities. But did you know that you can add more than one photo to your Instagram Story, even if you've already posted it? 1. From Your Instagram Story Page

Sometimes, a post doesn't feel complete until you add more content. After you post your Story on Instagram, you can add another photo to your existing Story to perfect your post. You are allowed to add up to six photos to an Instagram Story.

One way to add another photo to your Instagram Story is to upload it directly from your Story page. This is a great way to add pictures consecutively and instantly.

To add pictures to your Instagram Story from your Story page:

  1. Tap on your existing Story to open it.
  2. Select your Instagram avatar in the top left corner of your Story.
  3. Tap on your photo gallery in the bottom left corner.
  4. Select the photograph you want to add and click on it.
  5. Tap on the Your Story option in the bottom left corner to automatically add the photo to your Instagram Story.

To view your stories consecutively, click the Your Story button in the top left corner of your screen and click through them to see all the photos you posted.

2. From Your Instagram Timeline

When you are on your Instagram timeline you can add to your Story easily by following the steps below. This is convenient for when you are scrolling through and realize you forgot to add a photo to your Story.

To add a picture to your Instagram Story from your timeline:

  1. Click the plus sign in the top right corner, beside the notifications button.
  2. Select the STORY option in the bottom right corner.
  3. Tap on your photo gallery in the bottom left corner.
  4. Select the photograph you want to add and click on it.
  5. Tap on Your Story in the bottom left corner to automatically share the photo to your Instagram Story.

3. From Your Instagram Profile

Your Instagram profile has many options for sharing media to your Instagram timeline. You now have the option to add to your existing Story from your profile, making the process quick and easy.

To add a photograph to your Instagram Story from your profile:

  1. Go to your Instagram profile page and select the plus sign in the top right corner.
  2. Now that you're on the Create menu, select Story.
  3. Tap on your photo gallery in the bottom left corner.
  4. Select the photograph you want to add and click on it.
  5. Tap on Your Story in the bottom left corner to share the photo to your Instagram Story.

When you add a picture to your existing Instagram Story from your profile, you can continue adding new posts and another Story directly afterward, without having to move to another page. This option is great if you're pressed for time.

4. Add a Picture From an Instagram Friend to Your Story

  2. Select the Add post to your Story option.
