I can't get the correct file types to work together. If I have a Video Clip (.avi) and I want it to play it on the Motorola Xoom what player should i use or should I convert the files? If I should convert them what should I use?

One thing is that if you throw any video without converting it before, then the apps mentioned above like Mobo Player, for example, throws error code for being unable to play or similar error message but the next moment,it starts software decoding, which consumes much more battery. If you make your mind to convert those video files before sending it to tablet, then Freemake Video converter is easy and fast way to accomplish your job.

MX Player, MoboPlayer, DicePlayer, or VPlayer should play almost any format and even media streams. VPlayer has had lag issues at times, though they may have worked them out in recent updates, but MX Player and MoboPlayer work very well. I haven't tried DicePlayer, though I have heard that it also is a nice video player. VLC Player Beta is a work in progress, though if you use the pc version, you would know what to expect with the mobile version.

i thinkAudio Playback Supports: MP3, AAC, ACC+Enhanced, OGG, MIDI, AMR NB, AAC Video Playback Supports: MPEG-4? H.264?H.263 so if you choose other type will not work, so you have to try other video players from google market or convert videos to supported format.to convert try Handbrakehttp://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/HandBrake.shtmlRockPlayer litemVideoPlayerGoogle Play Films?https://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/7251228/type/dlg/sid/UUmuoUeUpU77616/https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.videos
