How to resolve the issue of a misplaced/missing DVR password?
The digital video recorder in question is used with a video surveillance system. For configuration, the password of DVR is not available. Is there a solution to configure DVR

Security DVRs use bespoke designs and operating systems and each one will be different. Best check with the vendor/manufacturer.

not sure but some should have tiny reset hole? or you need master password XXX from the manufacturer, which model you have?

perhaps you can reset the password by taking the internal battery of the DVR, before that make sure the power is unplugged from the unit, wait few minutes, then plug battery back in and power on, see if this will help.

well many DVRs supports this feature, there are various master passwords on the net, nothing sure that they can help you.
