I have two disks. The plan was to give each OS its own disk. I installed windows 7. Then fedora 19. I copied the boot record from Linux, performed the BCDEDIT requirement to get Linux into the boot manager prompts.
However, when I try to boot Linux, the screen goes blank and nothing happens. Ideas?

One reason could be that you might be using 64-bit version of Fedora in 32-bi system. If this is not the case, then try
repairing the bootloader. After repairing it,follow the suggestion of dual booting Windows and any Linux distro as mentioned in the below link -http://www.iceflatline.com/2009/09/how-to-dual-boot-windows-7-and-linux-using-bcdedit/
