I have an iPhone 3GS with 5.0 and I have jailbroken it tethered using redsn0w. I cannot use corona to make it untethered because corona only supports iOS 5.0.1 and above. iTunes always gives error 3194 when I do a clean restore.

Now every time the phone goes out of power, I have to re-jailbreak, otherwise it cannot boot.

What can I do now to get rid of this?

Thanks you.

Are there any shsh blobs saved on cydia for newer releases of iOS ?If so, then you should follow the processes to upgrade to and jailbreak the newer version of iOS.Alternatively you can downgrade to ios 4.1 which can be easily jailbrokenFailing that there is now a semi-untethered jailbreak for 5.0 - instructions at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92YXY5s1swo or http://www.ijailbreak.com/how-to/jailbreak-iphone-ios-5-1-redsn0w-0-9-10b8b-windows/
