Actually, it's easiest to download Skype from the Amazon App Store, not Google Play as you can't access Google Play on the Kindle Fire without rooting and/or doing a lot of work. Here's a direct link to the Skype App:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008M721MS?tag=muo-v2-9l3ta5s-20&ascsubtag=UUmuoUeUpU79728&asc_refurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.makeuseof.com%2Fhow-can-i-sync-my-kindle-fire-with-the-skype-app%2F&asc_campaign=EvergreenThen you can login with your Skype account and it should work for you!And thanks, Charles, for the link. :) I need to write up a page about using Skype.-Rachel from LoveMyFire.com

Install Skype for Android on your Kindle Fire from https://www.anrdoezrs.net/links/7251228/type/dlg/sid/UUmuoUeUpU79728/https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skype.raider&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5za3lwZS5yYWlkZXIiXQ.. . Once you do that and use the same Skype ID in both this and your Skype on desktop/laptop etc. , the contacts, messages, etc. are automatically synced, though their maybe a bit of lag sometimes in syncing.
