I am using http://emailtosms.com for this purpose now and I have 100% deliver rate so far (CEE region). They are probably not the cheapest but the delivery rate have according my experience better than other services.

Aibek outlined this back in the day: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/email-to-sms/You basically enter PHONENMBER@CARRIER.SOMETHING You're going to need to know which carrier your recipient is using, and that list isn't complete. Here's a much more complete rundown from Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_SMS_gatewaysWith this method you can send a text via email, to which any SMS user can respond. Note that overuse might get you blocked from the gateway, and that long messages will confuse and annoy the people you're emailing.
