I uninstalled XLaunchpad from my computer using Revo Uninstaller and doing an advanced uninstall, by removing all related leftover files, folders and registry entries. After the uninstall finished, I rebooted my PC just for the sake of it. Then I noticed that the context menu entry on the desktop is still there. Can you please help me to remove it?

You can also use CCleaner. It's under Tools --> StartUp; then choose the Context Menu tab. Highlight the entry then Disable or Delete.

Glary Utilities has a “Context Menu Manager”, which allows you to disable or enable these entries with check-boxes, very easy to use. It is divided in 3 tabs: Files & Folders (this is the main one), New, and Send To. That tool is under the category “Optimize & Improve”.I uploaded a screenshot of that tool here:http://i46.tinypic.com/13z0hh3.jpgYou can get it here:http://www.glarysoft.com/glary-utilities/

There are a few apps that allow you to edit or remove Right Click Context Menu entries although I prefer to edit the registry. This is one such app: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/context-menu-editor-for-windows-7-vista-releasedTry it and see if it finds the context entry if not post back and I will give you a few more links or explain how to do this through the registry editor assuming you are comfortable with that.
