Yesterday i saved a word text document and closed it and again opened it the next minute to check whether i have saved it properly and it was there.
But this morning when i opened Word it could not be seen anywhere in my system. It is a word document consisting of 11 pages. I use Microsoft office 2010. How do I recover the document?

I would go with Justinpot on this one. If it was saved the night before then it should be on your HD somewhere. Just hit start and type the name of the file in the search box, if you forgot the name of the file type in *.docx and all word documents will show up and look for it. Good luck.

Do you remember what you named the file? Because if so, you could search your hard drive. If you're using Windows Vista/7 simply hit the start button and type the name. If you're using Windows 8, use the Search charm. And if you're using XP, hit Start and then search.
