Just wondering if any you guys would know how to open the CPU module compartment on a Aspire 4740? I can't seem to find the "screwings" for it.

The entire computer has to be taken apart. There is no easy way to get to it....What is wrong with the computer, that you are wanting access to the processor?

First, I would check the vents on the side for dust. If you have never had the experience of taking apart a laptop, Trust me, it is a ordeal.

Hello, have you removed the cooling fan? It is just a matter of unscrewing the four screws there. Once that is done, the CPU should have a screw holding it.

Yeah I wished but the problem is there are no screws around the CPU module. [Broken Link Removed]
