I have a personal Facebook page, then I created a Facebook group for a club of which I am an officer. I want to place a badge or link icon on our club's website, which will take people to the Facebook group, but not my personal page. How can I do that?

First, i will like to know how you created the facebook fan page,to do this u need to use a new email address and instead of creating an account choose create a page, and follow the procedure to create the page,in this case ur individual account will not be involved so the page u put on ur club site will lead directly to facebook fan pagecheck out here http://1channelz.blogspot.com/

Thanks Ike. It is a "Group" not sure what a "Fan Page" is. Created a Group instead of a Page for security reasons, Really not interested in reinventing the wheel by moving into a Page. (can't really move into a Page, Group would have to cease and a Page created.)

Hello, you can't make a badge for a group, you can only make for a page or a profile. I'd suggest you to make a page. You can add a social plugin for the page, instead. You can find them here: http://developers.facebook.com/plugins.Source:https://developers.facebook.com

Thanks Ted. I know that Facebook does not provide a method of producing a Badge (link) but there must be a way to attach the Group's address to a "JOIN US AT FACEBOOK" placard that you can click on and that will take you to the group, or to the Facebook sign in and then to the Group. Do you know how....anybody? And, since this Group was created under my email I want to assure any link does not do to my Profile instead.
