I'm experiencing compatibility issues when attempting to install Kaspersky 2012 in Windows 8 operating system. How do I fix this?

Kaspersky's site suggests that you can install a patch to make the product run in Windows 8 but the level of protection will be lower than before. Also, the instructions refer to a PC with an older system, which is being upgraded. It's not clear that you can apply the patch when installing the software to an existing copy of Windows 8.You could still try applying the patch, but I would suggest you look at the upgrade options to Kaspersky 2014.

I don't think you could do that as compatible issues will occur. You may have to get Kaspersky 2013 or just use another antivirus like AVG for example.
