I carefully read this article. However, I am not getting 'tricolor' screen.
Author writes about downloading 4 files into storage card, but it says nothing about executing them. I tried that, but my phone says that they are not valid Windows Phone applications.
How to get tricolor screen? After restart my phone start as usual showing my desktop.

First of all, you may install NAND android (internel memory) or SD android (microSD card). For the first on, try this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948For SD version, go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881958

ha14 and Christian are spot-on with their suggestions. The zip folder must not be unzipped or else you will not be able to load android at all. Dual booting with Android on the SD card is good for starters, but the bugginess and slower speed may be a little of a bother. Try it first to get more comfortable with flashing and installing ROMs. One thing to note is that you must have the correct radio version in order for ahh of this to work. I have flashed (installed) NANDroid on my HD2 long ago and flashed different versions until Cyanogen Mod 7 (Android 2.3.7). Another thing I must add is that if you do not succeed the first time, go back and try again. Sometimes the first or second try does not take but eventually will. My HD2 droid is still in use, but as a mini tablet for the kids. It definitely made the phone useful and usable far longer than if it still had Windows Mobile 6.5. If you plan on using the phone for making calls but the audio is "robotic", let us know because I had a similar issue but found a fix for it. Good luck.

Hi MarcinYou don't need to execute the files on your phone or PC, and the guide says nothing about doing so. I suggest you re-read the guide and make sure that you're clear about everything, and check the comments - you'll notice that other users haven't had a problem. From the guide: HSPL4 MAGLDR ClockworkMod Recovery v1.3 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM for the HTC HD2Should be downloaded and saved to the same folder and the first two unzipped into their own individual folders. Don’t unzip the ROM download. The next step is to restart your phone, which is best done by removing the battery, counting to three and then replacing it. Power up, holding the volume down button; a new screen three-coloured “tricolor” screen should appear on your phone. If your phone is connected to your computer already, the legend “USB” will appear at the foot of the screen; if not, it should read “Serial”, so connect your USB cable.
