I have a Westinghouse HDTV (not smart or wi-fi enabled), is there any way to hook up to my PC wireless so I can use TV as monitor? I can not use cables as my 98 year old mother law would fall on them I don't have widi.

Yeah, something like this should do the trick. Be sure to shop around, though. Here's a year-old roundup I found: http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/wireless/wireless-reviews/wireless-hdmi-round-up/all-pages.htmlSeems these things exactly cheap, which I suppose makes sense. Might be better off just buying a dedicated media PC or device.
