You can get email id from your hosting providers, but if you don't have hosting plan then Google apps was the good but as i have read they start charging for this, you can try Outlook or Zoho for this as defined above.

You can signup for Google Apps at http://apps.google.com , follow the onscreen instructions and setup the email like anything@domain.in . Google apps provide upto 10 users for free with 7Gbs of space which can also be accessed from Gmail. It's basically the same interface as to what you get in Gmail while the only difference will be your email will be @domain.in instead of being @gmail.com

Uvesh,Are you sure? I am a bit surprised, as Google Apps accepts any registered domains. However it is now $50 / year / user as the 10 user free version has been discontinued and withdrawn since last 6 to 7 days now. :(

Uvesh,Usually most of the web-hosting packages includes domain email facility, however as per my understanding you have only registered a domain and have not opted for any hosting packages. However, not to worry as Zoho provides a free domain email facility upto 3 users. You can signup for the Lite version and it is free upto 3 users with upto 5GB/user mailbox size. The link is https://www.zoho.com/mail/ and click of Getting Started and then click on the Lite version.

Google had a similar service for upto 10 users, but your bad luck as it has been recently withdrawn and paid paid since the last few days, probably only last week.
