There's a program out their called "Driver Genius" download it and put it on a disk or usb. Then load the program and let it run it will find all your specks and get all the drivers you need for your computer...All you need is an internet connection it takes ALOT of the hassle out of it.

Go to manufacture website............

Always download the drivers from the manufactures website. If you know the manufacture of individual parts then get it from the manufacture's site. If you are having laptop you can get all the drivers at the same place. For Samsung laptops I would recommend to install SW Update app. You can install or update drivers and important software using this app with ease.

First try to get drivers from your Manufacturer if that doesn't work, they use driverGenius or DriverScanner to find out drivers.

If the machine is not just a custom build from a local shop (or yourself), your best bet to get drivers that will work is from the manufacturer's website. That should always be the first place to look. I personally don't trust the automagic driver finder applications as I have seen them download the files from sites I don't trust and install the wrong driver for the hardware. IMO, they should only be used as a last resort.

This is the best advice – check the OEM's website first. If it's a custom build you probably have the driver discs kicking around anyway...right?

Driver Identifier works well, as does Slim Drivers for automatic detection and the ability to find the correct drivers for your system. If you manually search the drivers you may find a higher version number, but may not work on your system. I tried Slim Drivers on various systems from a Pentium 4 system running Windows XP, a Vista system, and a few Windows 7 systems without any issues. These programs also detect video card drivers without issue. https://www.slimwareutilities.com/slimdrivers.php

I've tried to find drivers for my PC with several applications... The most convenient was Driver Identifier - http://www.driveridentifier.com/

The best way to find drivers for your computer is to verify the model of the motherboard and various hardware. The easyest way to get those info ar using CPU-Z and GPU-Z wich will detect de Motherboard you have then when you have th emodel you do a google search with those switch +driver +windows 7 +modelexample for the mobo I have at home: +driver +windows 7 +P8Z77M-PRO usually this get you to the website of the maker of your mobo. In my case it was ASUS.
