If you are using an app that does require internet access (ie angry birds etc) then turning off your data and/or wifi will stop most if not ALL adverts. Once finished, just turn on the wifi/data as required. Might save a bit on the battery as well.

You might also try airplane mode or disabling data connection only, however this is not so effective for apps that are requiring continous internet access. It's generally useful when playing games

What do you mean 'Android Apps'? Do you mean free version of apps that are ad supported? Or does your actual Android installation have ads everywhere?

If the free apps are themselves ad supported, then there is no way to disable them unless there is some sort of ad buy out, usually for a fee, or a full version of an app, usually without ads.

I got Adblock Plus (ABP) app for android. It has been developed by the same people who developed the mozilla add-on. I've checked it and it works great with many apps and even your browser. But beware, it eats battery like pacman eats the dots. So i usually turn it off and only use it when i need it.
