Mine defaults to US spelling for my browser and I want it to default to English New Zealand or English UK. As far as I know I have everything set for English NZ as my main language but this does not change the default for my spell checker.

Can anyone help?

A few things for you to try:Download and install SeaMonkey in British English from here:
MAKEUSEOF VIDEO OF THE DAY
SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT
[Broken Link Removed] Uninstall your american version first of course.Assuming you have installed the correct language pack, open SeaMonkey and type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.Accept the warning to proceed to the configeration page.Search for : spellchecker.dictionary and double click on the string. In the box that opens, change the language pack from en-us to en-gb and OK your way out.Close and re-open SeaMonkey and your Spell Checker should now be in British English. You can get language packs from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamonkey/language-tools/ make sure they are compatible with your version of SeaMonkey.
