What hardware resources distinguish low-end Android phones from their high-end counterparts?
For example, there are two Android phones with same CPU and RAM and battery power, like for the Google Nexus? What about for the low budget phones, like Micromax and Karbonn?
What makes them different even though all hardware parameters may be same like 1.2 GHZ quad core , 1 GB RAM , 2000 mAh battery, same internal storage?
Is the the make and architect of CPU and read speeds of internal storage the elements which distinguish phones from one another? Please clarify. Or is it the company's brand that provides value and after sales service, like Apple?

Everything Hovsep says, as well as:Tweaked ROM - high-end phones/tablets will have had the system adjusted to run optimally on that hardware, whereas cheap ones will use Android "out of the box".Quality - both the components and the assembly will be to a higher standard, producing that ineffable but self-evident "build quality", which makes all the difference! The best example of that is of course the iPhone, which is really not that different -- on the surface -- from most Android phone, but you can immediately tell the difference when you hold it or use it.

I understand. Please tell , the drivers are modified to work with hardware , with newer versions of Android too?
