Fans of Google's devices are patiently waiting for the company to release the Pixel 5. It has already announced an event for September 30, where all will be revealed.

The company also took to its Japanese Twitter account to show off the phone ahead of the official announcement, apparently by mistake.

What Did Google Reveal About the Pixel 5?

The tweet didn't reveal too much about the phone, and it was probably a mistake since the tweet claims the phone is available for pre-order right now (sadly, it isn't).

As you might expect, the tweet has since been deleted, but not before everyone was able to note down exactly what the company said.

The tweet, which was translated by 9to5Google, talks about the 5G connectivity, professional-grade photography, and high-end specs. Here's the rough translation:

Google Pixel 5, the ultimate 5G-enabled smartphone from Google, is now available for pre-order. Enjoy fast movie downloads and professional-grade photography. 5G experience with the best specs.

Also, there was a short video that shows off the Pixel 5’s design. As rumored, there's a hole-punch display and the wallpaper that’s been pictured in leaks throughout the last week.

The final thing revealed in Google's tweet is the price of the phone in Japan. Google announced that the Pixel 5 will retail for ¥74,800 ($708.42). That's quite a bit cheaper than the initial price of the Pixel 4, which sold for ¥89,980 ($852.19) in Japan.

We will have to wait and see what Google ultimately announces in terms of price in the US, but if the phone retails for around $700, that should be a fantastic price point.

When Will We Learn More About the Pixel 5?

Google is set to announce the Pixel 5 (and many other devices) at its Launch Night In event on September 30. That means we don't have to wait too much longer to find out everything about Google's upcoming smartphone, including when we can get our hands on one.
