I watch .AVI movies transfered to a USB stick on my LG TV. It works but it's a bit of a pain to transfer the files to the stick. Since I'm lazy, can anybody recommend a hard drive that I can connect through USB to the TV, and then transfer files to over my network?

Hello, is your TV attached to your network? If it is and you have a regular external harddrive shared in the network you might be able to accomplish what you want by using Twonky. Here is the link if you want more info:http://twonky.com/products/twonkywindows/default.aspx

So you're looking for a file server, which can also be used as an external hard disc? I've never come across such a product, but would be interested to hear if someone else has!

I've had a netgear eva8000 which was rubbish as this streamed wirelessly. This looks similara, I don't want to stream from the pc to tv. I just want a storage device I can put files on wirelessly and then play via USB to tv

You can do this too.But you need to buy cables separately as they don't come with retail packaging.
